Deer in the Woodland Garden: I was excited to learn and see a young buck and his doe spending time in my garden trimming and mowing/grazing for the past week. Took not-so-clear photos.
Yesterday morning the young buck returned with a second doe. I took more photos; closer and clear. I'll show them at another time. They have changed their dirty winter gray to a lovely shade of golden tan.

The one bad thing about having dogs is that they keep the deer away. However, we see them driving in and out from our dirt road. There are so many!
I love cats, but they keep the birds away. The animals in the garden shout the alarm when and where a cat enters
their little part of heaven.
Beautiful pictures if the deer, they are such graceful animals. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos.
Hi Missy. A large doe was at the sunflower feeder last night;when I went to photographer her she spooked and ran. There will be another time. I hate it! This Fall the city may have a bow hunt. But, we are one street from the county line where the deer wander over. Don't they understand?
