Toad Fellow a Poem

Toad Fellow
© Mary Nida Smith

The twisted road
Covered with yellow leaves
Traveled a toad
Named Longfellow.

Longfellow the toad
Was a poet, remember
Who loved railroads
 The month of December.

The month of lights
All colors and shapes
That twinkled bright
Throughout the landscape.
