Deer grazing in my woodland garden

In zoos


animals


run free


behind fences.


Antelopes


on open range


no longer roam.


Deer run free


in restricted forest.


Buffalo roam free


not near ranches


where cattle feed.


Wolves run free.


All the people said,

I love this poem. Zoos can be good, depending on which one. I love my local Brookfield zoo. They teach the public about animals and how to conserve their environments so they don't become extinct. I like the photo as well, how did the deer let you get so close to them?
