Halloween Bug
Of golden orange
Stripped body
Rings of black
You came too late
To visit Halloween.
This is spring
The season of green
With rabbits and babies
And baskets of flowers
Of rainbow colors.
You came too late
I’ll see you again
When Fall colors change
and leaves fall.
So fly away now

What a unique looking insect. Your poem was very creative, poetry is such a treat using fun words and phrases.
Good morning Missy. I am glad you enjoyed my poem. The little bug had small see-thru wings. It may be a beatle.
Nice poem, Mary. Me and the dogs have been noticing black and yellow centipedes on our walks the past few days. I love discovering new and exotic life here!
Thanks, I am glad you liked my poem.Exotic discoveries in Arkansas? That is a nice way to put it. New discoveries each day.
