Writers in this area have a choice
of two well-known, overlapping conferences. Both have sessions that appeal to
me. Check out OK Writers Federation Conference 2017, May 4 – 6, Embassy

). Variety of workshops with a special two-session block for Scrivener
Boot Camp led by Jason Hough. Also the Missouri Writers Guild Conference, May
5 – 7, Holiday Inn Executive Center, Columbia, MO (www.missouriwriterguild.org.)
. Opportunity to have a one-on-one with speakers and faculty. Lots of
workshops–of special appeal to me, “Writing Historical Fiction” led by Nicole
