The first writers group I belonged to when I lived in West Linn, Oregon. I believe it had just formed. They have a lot going on. When I was writing a column for the Port Orchard Independent I attend a chapter in Bremerton, Washington. I later, received a handwritten invitation from their president to attend a party for  one of their members - Debbie Macomber. I was so sad I was unable to attend (1987). I have been bless to meet many wonderful created people over the years.
